- Ski Trip 2006 -
*Falls Creek*
Day 1
we gathered in school at 1145pm and waited for all and the bus to arrive. set out at 12 plus and made a pit stop at abt 3am (if i remembered correctly). dint sleep the whole night and when we were going up the mountains, it started to become more foggy. and then when we arrived, it was snowing!!!! omg....was so excited to see snowwww!! hehehehee yayyy!!! took pics..but they're not with me. (yet) the ice was so slippery!!! hahahhaa..so so excited...but tired cos dint sleep the whole night. waited at the public shelter till abt 8am before we were allocated with our rooms. went up and before we could rest, we had to go collect our ski equipments...and chairlift pass.
we were then supposed to go up to the mountains with our skis on, when we dunno how to ski at all yet. taking the chairlift was quite scary...cos when it arrives on the top of the mountain, we were supposed to jus jump down and start skiing like that. ppl do fall while jumping down the chairlift. hahaha...but it wasnt a problem for both me and trace! :)
before we took the chairlift, we tried balancing and pushing forward a little at least and we boarded the chairlift. the scenery was awesome! :D and was very windy on the first day. when we arrived on top, i got down the chairlift and started skiing forward. and guess wat? i dint know how to stop and i jus slide down the hill..and it was SO fast!!! wahhahahaha for so far....till i realised that if i do not stop, i will hit into this guy in front. omg, so scary..hahahaha...so i jus lean backwards to make myself fall down. wah lau...quite scary. hahahaa~
waited for the lesson to start. and we thought it was 12noon...(when it was actually 130pm and we dint know) waited and waited...how come nothing..and no one gathered. and at that time, i was so thristy...and no water, no money. dint know where to take the chairlift down too..wahhaa...then...i suggested going down one of the green trails. (which apparently wasnt a good idea in the end and we still dint really know how to ski) wahahahahaha...so funny...
the "thinking-it-was-easy" me said...."aiya, lets go la" wahahahaha....ended up...the slopes were so steep and scary. omg!! i tell u, damn bad feeling. we kept falling till we got fed up...and decided to walk down the trail. and it took us 2hrs? carrying our heavy skiss......:( feel like crying... wahahahahaa....and we were so tired (without sleep) and thirsty etcetc...and so pissed!!!! ahhhh~ and we dint know the class was at 130pm. anyway, we took like 2hrs to walk down. and missed the class. feeling so tired and pissed, we went back to our lodge to shower and nap instead. hahahaha~ :P so...we kinda wasted the first day. :P after napping, baowan and ester (our room mates) came back and we were complaining to each other abt how the ski boots hurts and all.. hahahaha... went for dinner and was out for a drink with trace later on. came back early cos we were tired and end of first day...hahahaha..so boring ya? :P

Day 2
we knew there was a class at 830am. but it was too early for us to wake up, so we missed it. wahahaha.. (again) we also heard from xiang that there was also another class at 1030am, so we woke up, grab some food and went up the mountain again, realising that the class is not at 1030am and 130pm instead....wah lauuuu!! so bloody fed up and pissed. so we left...and went down the mountain for lunch first. i was still so tired....till i dint wanna go for the lessons at all. but trace wanted to go. and she said that since we are paying so much..and for the classes too, we must as well go and learn something. (which is quite true), so at 130, we went up again for our class.. and within the 2hrs, we learnt so much! basically all abt basic skiing...hehehehee... :) i think i can ski quite well now! :P heheheheh~ and it's actually so fun! :P *bleah~ but...the weather was so HOT! omg....i wanted to take off my jacket but i dint know where to put it...and i was afraid that some ppl might take it. (i jus bought it froom stussy. :() so i wore it all day...and i think i was like....dehydrated. hahaha...:P
after that, we went down for spa. not really spa la....jacuzzi. hahahaha~ :P and we were "rotting" inside the jacuzzi for hours cos it was so "song".... :P hehehehehe~ wahh..damn relaxing.... :D
went for dinner after that and was out for a drink like day 1. :) came back and went to dining hall to join xiang and the rest for card games. hehehe~ :) it was quite early and we could see some ppl were already drunk. whahahaha...so funny. their behaviour. :P
was so tired...and my legs had blister and blueblack. :( hehehe...but day 2 was so fun!!! :D i wanna go back next year. :D and probably own my own private ski boots and all. :) yayy~

Day 3
we woke up for breakfast and were on our own till 12noon. we went ard taking pics etc....and we left falls creek. :( i haven had enough of skiiing actually. hahahaha...but abit tired..and i missed my bed. :P

i was wearing slippers on the day we left...cos apparently.....my shoes are more slippery and harder to walk on the ice than the pair of slippers trace lent me. hahahahaha....brrrrrrr* so cold sia...and a few ppl were like...saying to me..."arnt u cold" & "isnt it slippery" while walking pass me. hahahahaha.... apparently, it's not. hahah..weird....i dunno why...maybe cos the slippers has a better grip? cos...the base thinner? hahaha~ i dunno~
overall, i had fun...especially on day 2... :)
the accomodation was 4/10 cos it was kinda budget, for students. and our room door doesnt have a key at all. :S ok, i wont comment much. but next year, i will probably go with friends, ourselves.
the food was so so. the first day, we had sweet and sour pork...and guess wat? it's not that kinda sweet and sour pork u think it is. whahhhaa...it was actually roasted pork (sao rou) with like...sweet chilli sauce? hahahaha..damn funny. :P and the chicken satay was like....one huge piece of chicken, with like...peanut or satay sauce. hahahahaa..but the entrees were good la. :)
